Professional Background

Sara is currently a Paraprofessional with the Shaker Heights Schools after working in Higher Education in Academic Affairs for many years.  She holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education but after having kids realized her passion was working with youth.

Soccer Experience/ Volunteerism

Sara’s son has been playing with SYSA since starting with Mini-Kickers in 2016 and she’s found herself in the role of Team Mom or Team Manager throughout.  While she enjoys helping out the coaches, she considers her main role is Mom, and pacing the sidelines whenever Nicholas is put in as goalie!

Personal

Sara lives in Shaker Heights with her husband and two kids.  She enjoys watching her kids sports, reading, and hiking with friends.
