Professional Background

Scott has been practicing law since 1998. He has diverse legal experience gained over 20+ years of practice in large law firms in the Cleveland area. He currently runs his own firm focused on providing general business counsel to small and medium sized businesses. Scott enjoys serving this market and helping people start and grow their businesses.

Soccer Experience/ Volunteerism

Scott started playing organized soccer at age four and did not stop until (around) age 48. He was naturally drawn to coaching and has been coaching his son’s teams since kindergarten. He has enjoyed coaching SYSA teams as a parent coach for several years. He absolutely, completely, and sometimes sadly supports Manchester United. Scott loves soccer and thinks SYSA is a great expression of the game in our community. Scott has experience serving on nonprofit board including UCP Cleveland and is proud to serve as a director for SYSA.

Personal

Scott lives in Shaker Heights near University School with his wife, two children, one overstimulated dog, and a somewhat embarrassing number of cats. He likes to cycle and watch soccer, all day long when possible. He is part owner of a wine import company and is a great lover of wine, particularly from Italy.
